About Our Yeshiva
My Yeshiva, My Family, My Future!
My Yeshiva
At the heart of every great institution are people that give their heart to ensure its success. At YTT we are blessed with a staff that embodies this concept. Their dedication and care is something that every YTT student recalls fondly for the rest of their life. We believe that a student should feel happy and safe in their environment and only then can they tap into their true potential as they blossom into a healthy minded Ben Torah. A Ben Torah that takes his learning and development seriously because he truly understands the value that he represents to himself, his family, community and Klal Yisrael. Our goal is for each student to learn about what makes them unique and special and how they can become the best version of themselves. Together we explore and sharpen their innate talents and utilize Chinuch, love and support as the successful recipe for their growth and achievement.

My Family
The Parent/Child relationship is one of the most if not – the most – important one of a person’s life. As we now join that special alliance, we seek to strengthen that connection by learning about the existing dynamics of that relationship and developing it further. As a team, we strive to provide a consistent and unified path for our students to follow. During their high school years, students often spend much of their day in yeshiva with their classmates, Rebbeim and teachers. During that time, many meaningful relationships are formed, relationships that can last a lifetime. There are also many events that strengthen that bond such as Father & Son Learning Programs, Rebbe Shabbatons, Trips, Retreats and more. Every YTT student knows that to the staff, they are valued and prized much like a child to their parents.

My Future
There are many aspects to a student’s development and each one requires much attention and nurturing. At YTT much is invested in the emotional and academic development of each bochur. Although their high school career is only four years long, in that time we seek to solidify and build upon their foundation in learning, character development and approach to a successful life. Academically, we challenge our students with a rigorous curriculum in both Limudei Kodesh and Secular Studies. Most of the primary Limudei Kodesh subjects culminate in weekly exams
to keep the material vibrant and relevant while also providing an opportunity for a fresh start every week. Additionally, students are treated to many incentive based and extra-curricular learning programs designed to enhance their studies and grow beyond the classroom setting. In the Secular Studies Department, the students are provided with instruction in the required core subjects and many useful electives as well. Our curriculum is aligned to meet and exceed the NY State Education Department Common Core Standards culminating in the NYS Regents Examinations. Our students also take the PSAT, SAT & BJE LOTE Exam and certain Advanced Placement Exams as well, culminating in College Credits for eligible students. Our goal is for students to learn and grow in their Torah Studies for many years to come and to equip them with the skills and knowledge to further their education.
